About
Built by engineers who had to
answer for it afterwards.
AcademIQ is a product of Invoxol, a software engineering company. It is built and supported by the same team — you are not buying from a reseller, and support is not a separate outsourced tier.
Why it exists
Most school software is a records system wearing a suit
Schools rarely lack software. They have a gradebook, a billing tool, a messaging app and four spreadsheets — none of which agree on how many students are enrolled. The work of running a school is not the problem. The seams between systems are.
AcademIQ was built around a single record per student. A child enrolled in the morning is on the register at noon, in the gradebook that term, on an invoice that month and in their guardian's portal throughout — because it is one record rather than five copies quietly drifting apart.
The second thing it was built around is genuinely separate campuses. A group is not one school with a label attached to each row. Each campus gets its own branding, its own bank account, its own name on outgoing email and its own students — kept apart by design, not by everyone remembering to be careful.
Where it stands
- Built, not planned
- Every module described on this site is running today. Nothing on the features page is a mock-up or a promise.
- Tested continuously
- Hundreds of automated checks run on every change, and the ones guarding your data's separation are the ones we treat as non-negotiable.
- Reviewed before release
- An independent security review and an accessibility review are booked before AcademIQ opens generally.
- Supported by the makers
- The people who answer your support email are the people who wrote the software. There is no reseller in between.
How we build
Four things we refuse to compromise on
Separation is designed in, not switched on
Keeping one school's records away from another's is not a setting somebody could forget to enable. It is the shape of the system, checked automatically and continuously, so that a single mistake by one of us cannot become your incident.
The boring parts get built properly too
Importing a messy spreadsheet and being told exactly which row is wrong. A setup process that will not let you go live half-finished. A record of who changed what. Unglamorous work, but it is the difference between software a school adopts and software it abandons.
Say what is not built
The security page has a section on what we do not claim, and we will tell you on the call if something you need does not exist. A buyer finds out eventually — better it comes from us before the contract than from you afterwards.
You own your data
A complete copy whenever you ask for one, and a written process for leaving that is agreed before you join. Nothing in the contract or the product is designed to make going elsewhere difficult.
The company behind it
invoXol
Innovation, engineered.
Invoxol is a software engineering company building custom software, web applications and product platforms. AcademIQ is its school management product — the same engineering standards, applied to a domain where the data happens to belong to children.
