School management system in Karachi.
Karachi's schools span everything from single-branch community schools to national networks, and many run O- and A-Level streams alongside the national curriculum with entirely different grading rules.
Schools in Karachi
Two curricula, two grading scales, one report card run
A Karachi school running Cambridge alongside the national stream is really running two assessment systems: different boundaries, different weightings, different meanings for the same letter. Software that hardcodes one scale forces the other into it and produces report cards nobody trusts. In AcademIQ the grading scale, the assessment weightings and the way a final grade is calculated are set by your school, so both streams keep their own rules and both sets of report cards come out of the same run.
On boards: most schools in Karachi sit under BSEK and BIEK. AcademIQ does not submit to any board and does not claim to. What it does is let your school set its own grade boundaries and weightings, so the marks and report cards it produces match the scale you are actually working to.
What you get
One system for a Karachi school
The same product every school on AcademIQ runs. Nothing here is a regional edition with pieces missing.
Parents told on WhatsApp, not just email
Absence alerts and the daily summary go out over WhatsApp, SMS or email — whichever your parents actually read. Your school connects its own messaging account, so messages come from your school's number rather than a shared one.
Built for groups running several branches
A group running branches across Lahore, Karachi or Rawalpindi gets one view of every campus, while each campus keeps its own branding, its own staff, its own students and its own bank account for fees. No branch can open another branch's records.
Your grading scale, not somebody else's
Grade boundaries, weightings and how a final grade is worked out are yours to set, so a school running the national curriculum alongside O- and A-Levels can hold both without one being forced into the other's scale.
Fees the way schools here actually charge
Monthly, quarterly or annual, set per class or per student, with discounts, siblings and one-off charges handled in the system instead of a side spreadsheet. Collection and outstanding figures are current, not a month behind.
Bring the registers you already keep
Student and staff lists come in straight from a spreadsheet. When a row is wrong you are told which row and why, so you fix one line rather than having the whole file rejected.
Works on the phones your staff already have
Teachers mark the register and enter marks from a browser on any phone — no installation, no minimum Android version, and nothing to update on two hundred handsets.
Said plainly
Before you book the call
The things AcademIQ does not do yet apply in Karachi exactly as they do everywhere else. Better you know now.
Urdu interface
Not yetThe interface is English, Arabic, Hindi and Chinese today. Arabic already runs right-to-left, so the layout work Urdu needs is done — what is missing is the translation itself. If Urdu is a requirement for you, say so on the call and we will tell you honestly where it sits.
JazzCash, EasyPaisa and local wallets
Not yetOnline fee payment is by card today, paid into your school's own bank account. Mobile wallets are the most common request we get from schools here and we would rather name the gap than let you assume it is covered.
Biometric and RFID attendance devices
Not supportedAttendance is marked by a teacher in the app rather than read from a thumb scanner or card reader at the gate. If your school has already installed that hardware, it will keep running as its own system — AcademIQ will not read from it.
An app to install from the Play Store
Not offeredAcademIQ runs fully in the phone browser — the same features and the same login, nothing cut down. There is no separate installable app at present, and we would rather say so plainly.
Next step
A demo, then a price in rupees
Thirty minutes on the running system, driven by how your Karachi school actually works. We scope what you need and quote against that — there is no price list because there is no standard school.
- The live system, not a slide deck
- Your workflows, your class structure, your fee cycle
- Multi-campus scoped properly if you run branches
- A price in rupees for what you will actually use
- Held at Pakistan Standard Time
See it running on your school's terms
Thirty minutes on the live system, driven by your workflows rather than a slide deck. Bring the awkward cases — the mid-year transfer, the sibling discount, the campus that does things differently.
- 30 minutes, live system
